Normally we'd be packing our suitcases for the eurobrass tour this week—but this is no "normal" year. Even though we can't play live, we've found a way to bring you eurobrass concerts this year: this Friday will be the first day of our 2020 eurobrass Archive Tour! The next four Fridays at 1:30 pm Eastern, we'll publish a concert video from the last few years on our YouTube Channel. Each video will remain available for a week after its premiere. We hope that you'll enjoy these concerts with us!

And if you want a musical foretaste, we have just the thing...

May 20, 2020

After two months of praying, waiting, and watching, we’ve finally reached a decision: the 2020 eurobrass concert tour has been cancelled. In light of the health risks associated with large gatherings at this time, this was the most sensible, responsible decision we could make.

We are, of course, disappointed by the necessity of cancelling. We had looked forward to musically sharing the good news of Jesus—the news of a hope that never gives up. At the same time, we trust that God will reveal his hope to all of us in other ways, and will sustain us in this hope through the days and months ahead.

In the last few weeks, the rapid proliferation of the Coronavirus has turned the world upside down. These days are marked by uncertainty and questions. For us, one of these questions is if the 2020 eurobrass concert tour will still take place. For now we are going forward in the hope of carrying out the tour as planned. At the same time, we are keeping an eye on the ever-changing situation, and we will only proceed if we are confident that our musicians can safely travel and our audiences can safely attend concerts.

In these uncertain days, we are thankful that we serve an almighty, trustworthy God, and we trust him to guide us in our decision-making. In the meantime, we're waiting, hoping, and praying. We'll update this space as soon as we know more.

As we continue our work with brass players and various ensembles here in Germany, we're also working on plans for the 2020 Tour. We're thrilled to already have the itinerary set—you can check it out here!

Another eurobrass tour is in the books--a full and fulfilling three weeks, during which we regularly saw evidence of God's greatness. As we endeavored to play well and live well together, we sensed God working in, around, and through us. We're thankful for the privilege of being part of His work in this way.

Now the year-long work of eurobrass comes to the fore, as Angie, Ben, and Kathryn continue working with brass choirs and other ensembles. As we do this, we're keeping in mind the same goals we had during the tour: to share both musical and spiritual encouragement.

And, of course, the planning for the 2020 tour is now underway...stay tuned for the latest news!

July 24, 2019:

eurobrass season has officially arrived! The 2019 eurobrass ensemble has been in Asel for three days, during which we’ve experienced a lot: beautiful music, spiritual encouragement, and good fellowship. We’re rejoicing in our continued growth as a team and looking forward to our first concert in only two days!

If you’d like to receive regular updates from the tour, please sign up for our prayer blog—you can find more information under the „2019 Prayer Blog“ tab on the left.

June 21, 2019:

The 2019 eurobrass tour is drawing nearer: the itinerary is set, the program has been chosen, and the music is in the hands of our team members. While we're hard at work preparing for the tour, you can learn a little more about our summer plans, from our itinerary to the musicians who make up this year's team. If you happen to be in the area of one of our concerts, we'd love to see you!

January 18, 2019:

Several months later, we're still basking in the memories of our 40th anniversary summer. From the workshop to the 12-member tour to our 28-musician alumni weekend...what a remarkable experience. Although each part of the anniversary was unique, several things remained constant throughout: the joy with which team members gave of their musical gifts, the warm and open reception of German brass players and audience members, and the faithfulness of God experienced by all throughout.

Now we've turned our attention to the 2019 tour--keep an eye on this page in the coming weeks for more information about 2019 team members and concert venues!
